My buddy James brought his new radio controlled DC-3 out for its maiden flight yesterday (Christmas Eve). It didn't quite go to plan...good outcome in the end though. A bit of fibre tape and persistence pays off.

Glad the plane bounced and was repairable. Yes, second flight was much better. Too bad they don't make it any more. Also hope you get many, many more flights out of it.

It's a great looking model. Shame it's not a little bigger. But yes, I think he's going to enjoy flying it in the Spring.
