1/6 Scale Japanese Nakajima Kikka Jet
I designed this model in AutoCad and cut the parts out on my laser. I started this build a little over a year ago. This is a Nakajima K9M Kikka. This is a 1/6 scale model, spanning 65.6 inches. Overall length is 59.7 inches. To keep the scale intake and exhaust sizes I decided to go with a pair of Freewing 70mm EDF Power Systems w/ 2957-2210kV In runner Motors. A set of JP Hobby electric retracts will be used for the landing gear. The model is constructed entirely out of wood. I am hoping for a take off weight between 10 and 12 pounds. I've not worked on it for about 5 months now. Hoping to get back to it soon.
