looking forward to seeing this one all wrapped up man. Oh, also when I do the basic design on the wing or any part, I only draw 1 side of it, then mirror that for an identical match. otherwise I'd never get close, lol..
Wow! I was just going back through the thread and found a post I missed. Sorry pburt.

Several years ago I wrote a small Visual Basic program to draw out basic airfoil shapes. I use the .dat files at the University of Illinois, a little over a thousand different shapes. There are only a handful that work well and I have a few that I like and have used on different models. The one I use the most is the e205 almost a Clark - Y at 15. It has a little more curve at the leading edge, has a good RE number and looking at the flow I liked what I saw. I dxf out to AutoCad and then save in ACad 12 DXF format and import in to Drawing Board. That's about it except I save the DB file as a .vlm and then the DXF is part of the Drawing Board file.

There are other programs out there and Profili is one of them. A good program that will allow you to anylize and compare airfoils.

That is a really nice looking airplane, Guy. You don't see many models of the Forked Tail Doctor Killer.
