Default What transmitter mode to fly my ST330 IN?

So what mode do u us and why? I would of thought that mode 2 would be the best and easiest as most of your control is with the right stick.
Also how do u change modes?

Steve

Yeah it IS easier, just like driving on the right. You and the Pommies need to get together and work it out

All kidding aside, I think Modes 1 & 2 is a vestige of exactly that, road orientation. I've heard from friends that in the UK it is a mishmash.

It all comes down to a.) How you learned and b.) what you're comfortable with (see a)

most anyone now learn on mode 2, I used to be able to fly either when had guys at feild who got in trouble and I would fly there planes on mode 1, never had to land one, I don't think But I could have, now Im rusty.

mode two is most common and mostly older flys (as in been flying forever) fly mode 1. bunch Pattern guys perfer mode 1.

I never seen a heli guy fly mode 1.

This question comes up every few months

You should fly in the mode most common to your country or area. In the USA, mode 2 is the standard. In other countries it is Mode 1. In some both are common.

I don't really think one is better than the other. It is just what you are used to, and I suggest you fly what your buddies fly.

Mode 1 is better , because your not "mixing" roll and pitch on the same stick....we are flying MODEL planes , not full size
