Default Slow Stick for me.... kinda

I just bought a Slow Stick on ebay, not sure what all it comes with as it is or was ARF that someone started and what ever it is missing I can get online, now just need a radio, esc, etc.... anyone got something taking up space that the spouse wants you to get rid of? Let me know I am interested and come to think of it interesting too but thats the nice way to say what my wife calls me at times. Will post after I pick it up the seller is local but not into RC, not sure where he got it, I paid $20.00 figured the parts alone are worth that.

Might be a good deal, depends what comes with it, if it has motor etc than certainly not bad at all, likely to at least need a transmitter, perhaps receiver, many of the ARF do not include these, also can request for transmitter etc on the for sale threads, may run into something reasonable there....if you forced to buy new gear on the low end I like the HiTec series, the Laser 4, love mine, new under a C note and like the feel of these, not bad quality here for the money, and don't forget many nice computer series out there, Spectrum is a the moment popular, also a newer non-computer model DX5E at the low cost end, high frequency, came with my RTF Apprentice, nice unit as has the Spectrum technology...Purchased this larger Apprentice for Night Flights, one successful one yesterday, some balancing going on with the lights, again in a few hours, wish me luck...<>..

You might find one that way tho most ARF come w/out the motor, transmitter, etc, not a bad deal if you get a system example transmitter that you can re-use further down the road on your next plane ventures...

This one qualifies as a Slow Stick:
Complete RTF very similar is the Slo-V, nice one, tho mine was under 24 flights as it refuses to handle any winds, still not a bad choice at all and nice price with everything....these aren't designed for heavier breezes, take heed and its a winner to fly...<>...

The other number one is definitely the Super Cub, it flys only slightly faster, a trainer with the high wing, very stable, and yep my first successful powered plane, thumbs up on that proven one....<>...well over 200 flights, taped fixed, handles abuse, true winner...<>..infact bought a 2nd one for Night Flights, its finally running down, move up to the larger Apprentice, pricy $299 but what a package, brushed motor, Spectrum system tho not computer, still nice, flys like a dream, is 4 channel w/ailerons so need assistance from an experienced pilot if you want to start here, ecstatic with mine 5 foot span, 3 Night Flights already, love it but note have flown several other planes, this is really a 2nd or 3rd....

Here's a link showing these two and suggested as the starter planes, even have video's, check 'em out...

Hope this helps...<>..
