The Expo web site says the event will be at the Puyallup Fairgrounds, but the Fairgrounds Event Calendar says not so.

http://www.thefair.com/events.asp?d=2/1/2007

Any body know if the location has changed? Where?

From what I've heard and read...

There is someone advertising the exposition in 2007, but the Puyallup fairgrounds has been continually calling the comapny advertising it, telling them to stop advertising the exposition because there was no reservation made for 2007. In fact, a different event has reserved the advertised days, vendors are having their money sent back... and this company refuses to respond to the fairgrounds.

I'm assuming there will be no show this year, unless they push it later in the year. Will I show up? Probably not. The # of vendors, visitors and amateur trading booths have declined immensely compared to the first year I went. It was so much fun. Apparently more people are buying online instead of visiting the trade shows.

Interesting. Where have you seen the ads? The only thing I can find is the Expo web site referenced in post #1.

Looks like no show this year. The http://www.nwhobbyexpo.com site has been changed (today, I think) to announce cancellation. Have to look closely or you'll miss the announcement.

Default Puyallup Replacement

Hi All... I have taken up the gauntlet which was carelessly allowed to fall and the new NW EXPO will go on but the venue has been moved to the Monroe Fairgrounds and the date changed to March 24 & 25, 2007.. We are forming a company for the business side and have several clubs willing to help with the funding of this project to make sure the NW modelers have an annual show to look forward to each year without fail. The web site is under construction and should be up and running Feb 1, and a temporary email has been created at [email protected] I have called about 1/3 of the vendors from last years EXPO and already have 23 of them commited for the new show and date. I would be glad to send anyone a flyer for the event and due to the very short lead time in getting an event of this nature together I am calling on everyone's help in spreading the word that the NW EXPO is alive, 48 days later in the year, 44 miles North..AND... NOT on Super Bowl Sunday Weekend!! I look forward to hearing from you all!!
Cheers,
John F.

It's allways been at Puyallup in the past.
Is there a map showing a new location?
