Default Vapor Indoor Combat:

I have been flying the Parkzone Vapor for about three weeks now and sometimes there are seven or more in the air at one time so I though why not put 8 foot streamers on them and see if we can cut them but most of the others flying think it is to likely that we will damage the craft so not many want to do the combat thing with me but a couple have and really enjoyed it. Hoping to get some more action shots real soon.

Cool! Combat in slow motion. I didn't watch the whole thing but did anyone go down in flames?

We fly these indoor here. 4-6 at a time. I too would be worried about the fragility of these things.

Sounds like fun though.

Yeah, they are fragile. I'm just curious how the performance is affected by te streamer - I mean with such a low AUW it must be necessary to trim it for the added drag/weight.

Cool Idea but I broke my landing gear by picking it up too carelessy - so I don't think I'll me going on any kamikaze missions with 'er

Default Fragile, Sreamers and go down in Flames

Fragile, Streamers and go down in Flames well fragile I suppose that depends on what you compare it to and my idea is many combat fliers crash large planes into one another and it costs a fair bit to fix and many of us fly helis which are always getting busted and that costs maybe 50 bucks a crash so if I crash my Vapor into another plane likely I will have to replace a tail section or a wing and those cost about 15 bucks so that doesn't sound to bad to me. So far in the use of twenty batteries I have only broken one prop. I crashed head on into another Vapor once and there was no damage. Down in Flames, no we have not had a mid air that caused a Vapor to go down but I did cut into another pilots tail section and it required tape to fix it although it was still flying fine. Streamers, OK so I took 8 foot lengths of toilet paper and cut it into 1/2 inch strips and that works perfectly and does not show any effect on the flying characteristics. I am considering cutting again and making them 1/4 inch wide because occasionally the 1/2 in wraps around the prop and stops the motor so I think 1/4 inch may be best.

Try COMBAT it is a BLAST!!
