Default Extreme 180 motors

I have long since exchanged the stock motors in my CX2 for the Extreme 180 motors and
I really have enjoyed them. I find now that they are losing power and I believe that is caused
by the brushes being worn down. I know that you can change the brushes in these motors
and I intend to buy some but can somebody please tell me how you go about changing
the brushes for the new ones? It doesn't appear obvious but I can't believe that it's too hard to do. Help!!

Hi, the brushes for the xtreme 180 se's are very easy to replace. You will need a soldering iron. Just unsolder the wires on the brush holders and gently pry the old brushes out. Push the new ones on. I insert the top of the brush holder first and the bottom snaps right in. Its a good idea to seat the new brushes by running a couple of lipo packs with no load so the brushes will wear nice and even and the motors will maintain equal rpms.
