Default GWS Slow Stick YouTube Video

You Tube Video of Slow Stick at local ball park.
Short flight.
2410-09Y brushless setup from headsupRC.com
1047 GWS prop
11.1V 1500mAh Lipo.

My CG is still needing adjusting after adding the lighter Brushless.
It's currently a little tail heavy.

Nice! Looks just like my Yellow stick. Which brand lipo did you choose to install on it, if you don't mind my asking?

It is a Mystery 1500mAH 25C pack. I got a pair of them from ebay from a HK dealer I buy from. I think it was about $35 for 2 packs including shipping. Shipping took about 8 business days to get to me. I also have a 10C 1500mAh pack from a foam RTF kit I got this year.

I have about 15 flights through each of them between this bird and the foam RTF Kit I have. So far so good. Balance charge them each time on my ESKY chargers.

I've got one of the Mystery 15C 1500mah 3S batteries from DealExtreme.com ($14.79 with free shipping), and it works like a champ. Only problem I had with it was, when it arrived, the metal wire within the red and black wires coming out of the battery were slightly exposed. But that wasn't anything a little hot glue couldn't fix. It's surprisingly light for its capacity, and I've yet to even get it warm when flying it on my Yellow Stick with a 2408-21 motor on it.

You know what? I also noticed there was no strain relief on mine. I bent the wire down the side some and wrapped it once in electrical tape so the wires would not bend over time and break off. I've taken to looking at that more carefully in my other batteries. I'm using the smaller JST connectors in my smaller birds that take this battery so I had to solder those on.

Default Very nice!!

I really enjoyed the video!! I love the Slow Stick ! My friend and instructor, Danny taught how to fly on his. I only had three flights and with it and because it was so easy to fly I was able to solo on the fourth flight.

I currently own and fly a Wattage Mini-Max which I love. It's such an easy and relaxing little plane to fly, but I think its a little under powered. I'm currently building a GWS Beaver. It's taken me a long time to build because I'm doing a custom paint job and making several mods. I never realized how much time a custom paint job and decal making can take. With any luck I'll have it ready to fly in a week or so.

Happy flying...
