Part 2 - F4U flight Retract problem

Default Part 2 - F4U flight Retract problem

In this flight the ESC was successfully replaced and the Corsair flown..but it has it's ups & down (More downs) as the left retract failed to extend causing some landing problems. I will try another flight at the beach with gear down.

Don't see part one. But I had a similar problem with the retracts for a Dynam Hellcat. In the plane, one gear would go up the other wouldn't. Pull the gear out put it on the bench plug it into a servo driver, worked perfectly. Put it back in would not work. Finally I bumped into someone with the same problem on the web. Came to the conclusion that the retract was not getting enough voltage. Installed a UBEC works first time every time now. Don't know if this apples to your problem since not seeing pt 1. But maybe it will help.

indeed…. The solution, due to the non availability of spare parts here in Australia & expense of shipping from overseas, was to leave the retracts in a locked extended position.
