Great morning to fly today.Guess everybody cept andy & me decided to sleep in today.

Heres a couple vids of me & andy bungee launching my zagnut.Glides pretty good now that I lowered the airfoil.Just need to get it on the slopes.I think I need to work a little on my acting skillz though.hehe

Heres the link If anyone wants to build one.Just be sure to shave down the foam that forms the airfoil about a 1/4 inch if you do it http://home1.gte.net/texhills/index.html

If its not windy I'll be back out there.
I think you talked me into seeing "Battle LA". Anybody up for flying then walking over to the movies?

Received a box of sticks in the mail today. I don't know if I should start a fire with it or use it to build an airplane . Wish me luck.

I'm working all weekend. Maybe the weather will be nice when I get back. Have fun.

Default Super Secret Project... not

It's a Mountain Models EZ Scout. A very simple 4 channel airplane with built up balsa fuselage and a foam core wing.

From the instructions, "The EZ Series was designed for the complete beginner builder..." That would be me.

I decided to do this rather than buy another foam airplane, to slow down a bit, and let me enjoy the two planes I already have flying.

Chellie were you able to get the cg figured out on your biplane.I did notice that one side of the elevator was up more than the other side.Wonder if that has anything to do with it.Good luck-RT

I had a fun flight this morning.Took off in dead calm weather & then 2 minutes later the wind started howling like 20mph.My 1st attempt of a landing was looking pretty good.It seemed to be tracking pretty straight with tom yelling "you got it,,,you got it" then at about 7 feet off the ground it looked like it was on the end of a yo-yo & just shot up.Had to abort,,,FULL POWER!!!
Ok no prob,,I'll try landing into the wind.Started my approach ZOoooooommm. It was passed me,ok that aint gonna work.
3rd attempt into the wind dead stick keep the nose down & level,down,down....touchdown woohoo

Once the battery and electronics are in they're sealed in there for good. So nothing can ever break on me!
