Thumbs up Thumbs up... to Heads Up RC!

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to give some good feedback to Jeff @ Heads up RC. He has some really good deals! And shipping is only 2 dollars, for one item or a boat load.

So far I have bought a BL motor/ESC/ Lipo/Battery Charger/ and props from him.

Everything was very well packaged. I just received 10 props from him and he took the time to put them on a piece of cardboard and wrap them in newspaper, and then put them in bubble tape. Not to mention how fast the shipping is.

Just wanted to give him some more good feedback! If you get the chance check out his store.

I like how he has broke down the information for the Tower Pro outrunners. Very easy to understand, thanks Jeff.

Well, since we are heaping praise.....

I just placed an order from Jeff late last night, got the email it was shipped today. I decided to upgrade my EasyStar to a brushless motor to help it in headwinds. Emailed him, asking what he recommended for my plane, and sent a reply in minutes. (Who else does THAT?) Then when I saw what he recommended, I was very confused about how to mount it. Another email to Jeff, and he sent me a pictorial from another user showing how to mount it using PVC pipe and bushings. This is my second order from Jeff, and he will get as much business as I can throw his way for anything I need.

That, and he is in Wisconsin, home of the Green Bay Packers (BONUS!!!) LOL

Chellie and Brian, thanks for pointing me in his direction.

Thumbs up Jeff's email

Howdy Fred,

Try this one, [email protected]

Good Luck, Jeff really is the best I've dealt with and I have probably about $500. worth of his items. Great person to deal with and I've even got to sit down with him a couple of times.

I have an FMA Cellpro 4s/A123 and wanted to try his WOW line of Lipo Batteries. Wanted to ask him what adapter I need to charge/balance the WOW Lipo from my Cellpro and if he sells same.

Has anyone done that ? and if so what adapter will work ?

Regards Fred

I bought a Lipo/Mihm charger off of Jeff, it came with a AC adapter... I'm pretty sure he can set you up with something...

I really like the WOW batts, they are great.

Thanks for the good word on WOW.

I am from Pa also and went to school at Philadelphia college of Pharmacy.

My two daughters who are both MD's graduated from Pitt Medical school.

They both were taught to fly nitro powered RC in the day by me at the Valley Forge Signal Seekers before electric was even conceived.

Thanks again

Fred

Your welcome Fred. Thats great your daughters got into flying RC. I hope my daughter gets into it, she's only 6 months old though The WOW batts that Jeff sells has a female Deans Plug on them. It's nice not having to solder one on

Smile Service With A Smile

Hey Fred,
I can't answer that question for you but go ahead and email Jeff. He'll be more than happy to help you anyway he can even if it's just answering questions for you. I probably asked him 10 questions a day for a week before I bought anything from him. He's really interested in helping people get the most for their $$ and is especially fond of getting a newbie going. I just can't say enough good about him. He really enjoys what he's doing and he tests everything he sells. He's answered so many questions for me and headed me back onto the right track so many times. I had just started getting into brushless motors and lipos and had already made several mistakes buying the wrong stuff. He took what I had and matched it up to what he had that I could use, gave me some irresistible prices and I've been hooked on his services ever since and we've become friends. I have no worries about referring Jeff to anyone because I know he'll treat them right.

Give Him A Chance,
Slowjohn

You will not find a more reputable RC store on ebay. Jeff is helpful, knowledgeable, and stands behind his products. Great person to deal with on ebay specifically or on the internet in general. Two thumbs up. I changed my buying decision from a FMA Cellpro4 to the DN Jeff sells simply because he was so helpful and responsive to problem I had with a basic Lipo charger I bought from him (it overcharged the cells).

Made an order yesterday to Jeff @ Heads up RC. I asked him to ship as soon as he can since I needed the stuff by Saturday. He usually does anyway....I just wanted to be sure.

Normally he is based out of Wisconsin so I didnt think it would take that long to get to Iowa.

I guess he spends his winters down in Texas so he hurried up and got it in the mail just hours after me purchasing it on EBAY and mailed it Priority.

How many vendors would go out of their way like that? This is why I continue to do business with Jeff.

and thanks again Chellie for bringing his name to me

Thumbs up Jeff is about the greatest IMHO

It's sellers like Jeff and several others like him that causes me to keep my eBay acct. open.
On Christmas Eve I won 2 UltraFly Furious kits on eBay for $12.50, $22.50 total with shipping. I was going to have to wait till the following Tuesday for the bank to open to make a deposit so I could pay him thru PayPal but the guy wouldn't wait or accept payment by any other means like one of my buddies here could have paid him for me or made a transfer into my acct. No he wanted only to re-list the item and told me he'd leave me Positive FB if I'd let him re-list them. I said no, I wanted my winnings. He re-listed the kits 8 hrs. later anyway after cussing me out via email. That seller had 2 negatives in less than 60 feedbacks. Anyway eBay won't do a darn thing about him and I know if I leave him a negative he'll retaliate. BTW, I didn't get my positive either. Guess I need to leave a post about littlejohn_trucking eh?

Anyway Jeff is one of the best in my book!!!

SJ

Howdy Tom,
Yes he is but he prefers to stay in the background. I'll be going to visit him here in a few weeks. He bought a couple of my planes and it's easier and will cost about the same for me to just take them to him rather than ship them when I finish with them.
He goes by "All Up in the Air" I'm pretty sure. He doesn't post much at all. The 1st thread about him got closed by the Mod because a couple of members trashed the thread by arguing back and forth for a couple of pages.

Thanks SJ. I was just curious if he knows how much positive feedback he gets here. I've only ordered from him once and it went flawlessly. I'm sure I'll order more. I've never heard anything negative about him.

Thumbs up Thanks Jeff

He's a very nice person to know as well as deal with. He wants everyone to be happy with any deal/transaction with him. It's about a 3 hour drive for me one way to go spend a day or so with him and if the wind is right we try to get in a little flying. The man is very serious about his business and he gets a lot out of helping people get their planes flying the way they want them to. I have to say he's one of the best people I've met in my 53 years (next week). My world is way better off by knowing Jeff. I knew next to nothing about this Electric RC but thanks to Jeff I'm now able to help others now somewhat and I'm no longer intimidated by all this electrical stuff. I had never been able to grasp it before but he's able to explain it and as you can see by his guides he writes for the products he sells he wants everyone else to understand it too. He's been the biggest help to me by far and I'm very grateful.

Thanks Jeff,
SJ
