I will for sure. I have been to the Wilson & East Ave and your right, its nothing but wide open spaces. Only negative I can see is if you don't line up on the drit road on Wilson right you may not get a second chance if it goes off the road. I do plan on trying my E-Flite Cub there and if it goes well it may be a nice place for the FW 190, its also not all that far from my house in Fontana.

I just built a stryker, its decently fast prob 60-70mph, but super light, so it can slow down really well... and is much more manuverable than a stock style one because of the weight....

Hi Kevin the stryker bodys are cheap like 19.95 it comes with the body and the nose, you can get the rudders extra or cut them from 6mm deprod, and get the canopy cover, thats about it, atlanta hobbies has them, hope that helps, Chellie

I'm bummed that JR RT-88 retract servo seems to have a stripped gear 3/4s of the way thru it's travel it stops and just makes motor noise. Dang it , it was a $26. servo too. I took it apart and can't see any teeth missing in the drive gears. So I guess I'll be sending it in. I'm still gonna fly this beast tho, I'll just have to leave the wings in the forward position.

Hi Al get your self some of these servos, hey for $5.95 you cant go wrong for your retracts, you could have bought 5 of these for what that JR servo cost you and they are 3 times stronger than the JR Rt-88, Take care, Chellie

That looks like a nice place. How large is the runway area? Looks like hard packed dirt?

Just caught the last 15 minutes of a movie on Encore and in the end a kid (looked 13-14) was flying a Cub Type and stall landed on top of a boulder he was standing on. The the main star came in wrote on the wing and they launched it to end the show. Didn't see any credits for it.
