Default SC Problems

Hi Guys
I'm a newbee I have a hobblyzone supper cub took it out tonight for the first time. did about 5 left circles and cashed no real damage but a broken prop
now for the question how do you get the nose cone off to change the prop? Thanks for any help

Hi Ray, welcome to the Super Cub craze!! It's called a "spinner" just so you know. Believe it or not it just pulls off. Now, after saying that I have to admit that the few times I've had to remove mine it's been a real bear. The problem is that there's no real good way to get a good grip on it. At least for me. But just keep pulling and twisting as best you can and it will come off, trust me.

I'm also a newbie with the SC... noted you had some heli time... how's the transition to fixed-wing?

The best way tgo pull the spinner off the SC is to grab it with both hands, using your forefinger and middle finger between the spinner and the cowl. The sidewalls will flare out a bit as you pry her off. In a nutshell, just pull hard.
