I can't believe no one's suggested this yet...

Have you thought of adding ailerons to your Easy? A lot of flyers make this upgrade when they feel they've outgrown the 3-channel version. it's an easy enough mod. If no one on WF knows how (I'm sure there are!) There is a faithfull following of this bird on the RCGroups which I know has members that have.

Parkzones RTF Trojan, 5 Stars *****

Just had loads of fun with the Easy Star, as love sailplanes from years past...have gone thru plenty of planes, many value ones that really don't stand the test of time for my bungling, however just stumbled onto the Parkzone Ready To Fly Trojan, tho 4 channel and low wing had only one flight and simply blew me away, very stable, flew right out of the box like the famed Super Cub, it does use ailerons which your perhaps now ready for and on easy throttle is a very nice flyer, maidened in over 8-10 MPH gusts but winds started to smooth so took it off on the pavement, note lately use to hand launches, was concerned on this but into the breeze it took right off, pulled slightly to the left took exatra right on the rudder actually connected to front wheel, fianlly straightened and she went right up with no suprises, nose wanted to rise sharply with still extra gusts going on but simple down nose and slight increase of throttle went right up, kept cutting power off to get ready for pavement landing, again strong concern as been awhile, but after many passes and with everything lined up throttled down and watched the nose for stalling came right in like a champ, landed just 8 feet past me, I about fainted, what a beauty, Trojan gets my present vote for an easy 2nd or 3rd option flyer, been along time finding one like this, give it max stars...

Note Trojan is a low wing, 4 channel with ailerons, very predictable flyer but slightly above the raw beginner, however 2nd or 3rd plane option it now tops my list...did a great job on this one, can't wait for some more airtime with lower wind coditions, its a piece of cake !!!

loads of threads on the Trojan, but here it is
http://www.parkzone.com/Products/Def...ProdID=PKZ4400

psst keep checking and can still find it for $219 shipped, and view some youtube videos on this wonderful flyer..worth the look..

Super Cub, Night Flights
Stryker B, Stryker C -varooom 80 MPH - still under 30 flights w/this monster
Parkzone Warbirds, Spitz (fragile) mine now all need repairs, but what a sight inflight!
Easy Star Glider, themals, Sunday Flyer, 30 minutes flight times norm
Trojan, out of the box flew like a trainer, blew me away...

I wouldn't reccomend anything areobatic as an aileron trainer. What works great for me, if you want to go all out on the easystar, is if you put in a six series motor w/ 54 amp esc, and make wooden ailerons.

Default Indoor Plane

I would suggest the Vapor by Parkzone. It is slow and very quiet. You can check it out on the net where they show it flying in a living room! I've had mine for a few weeks and love it.
