How exactly do they determine how much per plane? Also, if something happened, do I need the incident on video to file a claim? They have alot of rules and regulations outlining the "musts", but not a whole lot on how they work (as an insurance company). Maybe I just didn't see it.

It does make alot of sense to be insured if you have somewhat of an investment.

Hey Mike,
I hope you will take the opportunity to follow the links that Frank posted for you. I believe the AMA will keep us flying and give us all the chance to grow and continue this hobby that we all have a passion for..

Thanks for listening..

Guy,

Aren't you glad you just saved $4.29 per plane?

Sounds like a Gieco commercial doesn't it?

...and the AMA strikes keep coming...

THANK YOU SIR, MAY I HAVE ANOTHER?!

Seriously though -- insurance is all about betting you ARE going to have trouble -- the insurance company is betting you are NOT going to have trouble. And the insurance company is in the business to make money -- therefore, if insurance is not required, I'll bet on the insurance company...

It's like gambling -- the odds are with the house. I don't gamble, and I don't buy unnecessary insurance.

Hey LT, you guys can call me Mike. As a matter of fact I was on that site for the last 30 minutes reading. I see what you guys mean. I was actually signing up for the two year membership. I saved it and will commit on the 1st (payday).

I think it's cool that they give you an opportunity to donate to the cause as well. I actually like the option to be able to contribute!
