I had to tell someone! I just bought my rexi a brother! It's another T-rex 450, but the new one is the SE V2, RTF with a Spektrum DX6i TX, HS65's up top and a Futaba 9650 in the rear. Not bad for 165.00 shipped! I can't be sure on the gyro but it looks like the telebee 400, basically a less expensive but capable gyro with features similar to the 401...
I can't wait to get it!!

yeah, it is... but it looks like it may not happen. I think the seller got in trouble or just folded up shop as all of his listings are gone. I have questioned ebay as to what is happening and I paid with paypal, so if it's hokey, I should be able to get my money back. Frankly, I'd rather have the heli, as would anyone, at that price! oh well, I guess we'll see.

I agree that the vids are great....
They really helped me with basic setup on my Trex 600e.

I spoke with Paypal today and they have gotten tracking from the seller. My package is in customs now. Now I just need to see if it's what it was supposed to be...I am excited again!

Thanks Ace! Alas, it was not to be...
What I got was this...

Not exactly what I expected when I bid. lol
Needless to say, I have a dispute filed with PP, but I am not really expecting much. Oh well, live and learn, that will be the last time I don't follow my instincts...

Sorry about that xuzme720!! I've gotten to the point that I don't do much Ebaying anymore because of crap like this!! I've been very lucky that I've only been burned once but I'm not sure it's worth the risk anymore!! Steve

Just read through all the posts and wow what a ton of info. My story:

I have 3 coax heli's since christmas. They are a blast to fly with. Sat there last night in my easy chair and flew 2 of them all over the living room with no stress whatsoever...my 5 year old is even doing well on my little MCX.

I am shooting for a bigger heli end of march for my 40th birthday. Had pretty much settled on a Blade 400, BUT I am strongly considering a TREX 450 instead. Why pay over 400 bucks for something that needs upgrading right now of the box. I can have a 450 built up for about 800 locally and it will give me plenty of enjoyable flight time. I am confident in my ability to learn fast as the RealFlight Sim has not been hard to learn.

As for Ebay...I have not been burned - YET - as a matter of fact I just got my EFlite MCX off Ebay and it was a great deal and was exaclty what was described. I now have 3 batteries for it and its awesome. Took it outside yesterday after work - very calm day - and flew it about 40 ft in the air. HAHA....it was great.

Thanks to everyone for all the info....this is a great site.

10-4. Can I ask why you are selling it? I will certainly consider it, but keep in mind that I will not be buying until the end of March.

Thanks
