Default Why cant I just use this brushless kit with the 4#3b?

(replace stars with www)

Why do I need to get the kit with the new receiver and tail motor if my old one is fine?

Because your original setup is not brushless compatible.

IDEA: What if I just get the kit linked (much cheaper than the 4#3 spec kit), and one of these http://wowhobbies.com/thesteveblsing...converter.aspx

That way I dont need the expensive walkera kit with the receiver.

What about my idea above? use the cheap kit with just the esc and motor, and get one of the steve low speed converter?

Also, on my origional link, it says:

Can I upgrade my current 4#3B by using this motor and ESC only?
Yes, you can do that, however, you need to modify your motor mount (in the main frame), to cut about 1 mm in order to fit the motor
Do I need to order the RX to use this helicopter?
Optional. It is optional parts for you, as you can use your current 4CH 2.4GHz TX to control the new RX.

How come this contradicts what twmaster says?
