Default Battery capcity and Cellpro Powerlab 8 V2

Can I charge different Lipo battery capacity with the same cell count on PL 8? Thanks for your advise.

Yup..

(1s to 8s balanced, 1s to 2s unbalanced), Lithium Ion (1s to 8s balanced, 1s to 2s unbalanced), Lithium Manganese (1s to 8s balanced, 1s to 2s unbalanced), A123 (LiFePO4) (1s to 8s balanced, 1s to 10s unbalanced), NiCd (1s to 21s), NiMH (1s to 21s), 6v, 12v, 24v Lead Acid batteries (Flooded, Gel) Adjustable range 10mA to 40A, limited by 60A input current*

Hi:

Yes, when charging LiPo in parallel, you may have different capacity batteries, but you MUST maintain the same cell count.

When setting charge rate, set it based on the pack with the lowest capacity; e.g., if you wish to charge 3300 and 2200 mAh at the same time, and you are shooting for 2C charge rate, tell the PL8 you are not charging in parallel, and set the rate manually at 4.4A.
