Default Fixed wing equivalent of BCX2

I was browsing through the spec's of the Blade CX2, and was amazed at how much good stuff is in this RTF for such a low price? Where is the price point and content-equivalent fixed wing parkflyer? It seems like horizon could make a dx5e, AR6100e, LiPo, brush 180, DS60, 3-5 channel trainer for a similar price.

The E Flite Apprentice...

While a bit pricier, it is what they offer.

There's always the Supercub. But, with it's brushed motor, nicad batteries and proprietary radio, it's becoming a bit outdated.

Yeah. The Apprentice seems nice, but I agree that it is at an entirely different price point. And I'd certainly like to start off with reusable radio gear.

The Kyosho Minium AD Piper Cherokee is getting close. But you're still getting a lot more for the money with the CX2.
