Talking Watt Meter ????

Hello Every one....
I am new to this site but not new by any means to Flying.... lol or this hobby....
I have been in this wonderful hobby for 23 yrs.....and now I have ventured into the ELECTRIC side...... lol... everyone thats not an Electric guy at our field calls it the DARK SIDE>>> lol.. anyways....
I have a NEW TME Extream Charger....
and I wanted to know if anyone else here has one of these FINE chargers.....??
It says.. that has a whatt meter built in.... well
wanted to say hi. and to see if anyone else has this charger..
and I wana check the WATTS of my planes and I think I can do this with this charger

No clue about the charger but wanted to be the first to WELCOME you to the site, glad to have you, you will fine many wonderful people on this site, I have been in this Palne hobby myself for 18 years RC cars for 25.
Electric is great and we have come a long long ways.

If this is the charger you have it does indeed look like it has a built in Wattmeter. That's pretty cool. Subscribing to hear more about it.

Talking YES YES YES ... lol

I have used it 2 times.... and its great but I know there is more... lol
and it has its watt meter.... too..
which I would like to use.. but I am so wondering if anyone else has used it already....
but I will be using it sometime tonight I think....
I alread have flown the PIPER Cub its a clipped wing I recovered... it its AWSOME flyer....
I have a E-Flight 400 outrunner...with a 20 amp ESC powered by a 3 Cell 1300mah battery.... and the prop is a 10.3-8
IT flies for 22 min..... and thats with loops and rolls and alot a full throttle....
I am so amazed.. and now I wana see the Efficiancy.. so I can mimick the combo....

Here's a wattmeter simulator that helps give you a better idea of how to use the info. I don't have a wattmeter yet but plan on getting one soon .

I know it doesn't help you set yours up but maybe it can help when you do get it going. Good luck.

I don't have the charger with the built in watt meter, but I do have and use the wattmeter shown in #5 above. I use it on my motor test stand to determine the max Amps pulled with various props and power settings. Knowing the Amps tells me I'm not over loading the motor and exceeding battery and esc specs. I also can predict the amount of flight time based on various throttle settings.
