Hello:
A friend and i fly delta epp wings all the time. We were thinking about trying streamers or something like that. I thought that with pusher props that would be impossible.
Is something like this possible to do? If so, where could I find out more?
Thanks for your help.

Well, we were thinking of doing it a little differently. You would have double sided sticky tape on the leading edge of the plane. You would fly through the streamer and that leading edge tape would shred the streamer - it would rip it off, essentially.
I was more concerned that maybe your own streamer would get caught in your prop and just make a mess.
What do you guys think?
Thanks.

yeah, as long as you mount the streamers on the tip of each end you shouldnt have a problem w/ them getting caught in the prop. ive flown streamer combat w/ my stryker a time or too. but full contact combat is alot more fun by far... but people dont typically like trashing planes

I've done it with a string running from the rear of one wingtip to another, and a leader string in the center of that one with the streamer attached to that. I've flown it against dedicated RCCA combat planes, just for fun.
In contests, most combat flyers use a product called Tanglefoot on the leading edge of the wings to snag streamers. This stuff is VERY sticky, and takes mineral spirits to remove. I've used double sided tape as well as small strips of sandpaper on my swept wings.
