Thought I'd share my experience with this, brought the extra 300 1.3m a couple of months ago, after 30 flights I noticed the motor seemed loose, after removing the mount it fell into 5 pieces and had cracked around every hole where it screws to the motor, I'm surprised to find it's made out of plastic painted to look like metal, contacted horizon hobby who told me they are on order and won't be able to get me one till December.

Thanks for sharing your experience. You can likely make a replacement out of plywood sold in model or craft stores. Use the old one as a template to make a new one.

So many plastic mounts fall to pieces .... that as AEAJR suggests - better to make your own in ply.

If you have a 3D printer - you could even print your own ...

Personally I never waste money buying replacement mounts after having had similar happen to me.
