Hello. I'm trying to resurrect an old "Gentle Lady" sailplane, including updating it to an electric motor. I'm having trouble finding a simple 2-channel transmitter/receiver/servo system. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Most brands have stopped selling the 2 .. 3 .. 4ch sets now ... basically the price of producing a 2ch set is not so much less than producing a 6 or higher. Most people are looking for a 6ch or more nowadays anyway - with the idea to get as many ch's at start - so when time to move up the models - radio is there already.
Its also rare to see a box set now as well ... unlike before - very few Tx's are sold with Rx's and servos. Today - there are so many servos out there and Rx's are in various sizes to suit what model you are kitting out.
I would suggest getting a current radio with as many ch's ... radios really are not that expensive anymore ... you can get multi-protocol radios with 16chs now for budget price - less than you would have paid for a 4ch a few years ago. That multi-protocol then allows you to save money by buying Rx's that are not 'tied' to one brand.

He's right actually .. if you are adding e-motor to the GL - you will need a minimum of 3 ch's ...
