Default Little Harry Potter

Working on an indoor version of the Firebolt by avTims , here is the link to kit and plans:
https://avtims.com/avtims-firebolt/
I reduced the plans on adobe reader to 50%. The plans were on 8 pdfs which at 50% printed out on 2 letter size sheets per pdf for a total of 16 sheets.

The plans are based on Flite Test foamboard techniques so quite a few changes will be needed to get this light enough for indoors I am shooting for AUW of 10 0z max. The wings are laminated 2 mil. The body, body sides, tail, broom top and bottom are also 2 mil. The lower wing where the broom handle and motor will be attached are 6 mil as well as the back of the legs.

Did a little shading, now I need to figure out the cg and get him powered up. Pretty happy with how he's coming along.

I ordered the full size kit so it should have some more info on how he set it up. I have some motors that might work. The propeller needs to be 6" or less.

If at first you don't succeed fly, fly again!! These are Harry's first attempts. He was real tail heavy but getting close. I think I will have him sorted out by his next outing tomorrow if it's not to windy. Looks great in the air but pretty touchy and slow to react to rudder input , this design has no ailerons only rudder and elevator.
