Default Extreme Flight Torque 2814T Motor PWM Frequency

I just finished building an EF 48 inch EXP model with a Torque 2814T Motor. I am not using the Air Boss 45 amp ESC because I am using 7.4 volt servos and do not want to use a stand alone SBEC. I am using a Castle Creation Lite 50 Amp Controller. The Air Boss is default 8 Khz PWM, and the Castle Creation default is 12 Khz.

So what is the preferred PWM Switching Frequency for the motor?

8 or 12 Khz?

I am thinking 12 Khz because higher is usually better than lower provided there are not VA heat losses in the windings.

Set it as high as the ESC supports. As far as the motor is concerned the higher the better, though higher does cause the ESC to run hotter but that's only an issue if you find it gets too hot.

I knew that much already. You can go to high of a frequency. That heating you refer to is inefficiency and energy being lost as waste heat.

I have read marketing that suggests that the Airboss models are designed for optimal Torque motor Plug and Play. The guys from ExtremeFlight were stating, just connect and go. For this reason, I would start at the 8kHz.
