Default Check Out My New Plane: 3D Hobby Shop 47" Extra 300 SHP

Haven't bought it yet, but I am planning to. It's claim to fame is 3D, but I plan on using it as a sport flier.

Looks like an awesome plane!

Gee, looks like I'll have to sell lottery tickets.

Hey, that's a great idea. It'll help me pay for it.

You bet you can fly it Bill.

If you folks come out, you can fly it also.

Frank

I haven't flown since Thanksgiving. I may need to warm up on his airliner first.

Here's what someone said about this plane:

I set an SHP up for a friend to use as a sport flier. He wants to get used to it first, then increase the throws and try 3D. Turns out the thing is absolutely the most honest and smooth flying sport plane I have ever flown, and second place is not even close. The thing is an absolute hoot to fly.

I might even set you up for myself like this for sport just because it is so much fun to fly. It's extremely relaxing to fly the plane this way. Of course, the Extra SHP, even in 3D trim is very easy to fly, but in sport trim you can just turn your brain off and cruise around doing all the conventional sport maneuvers, but doing them even better than a sport plane. All the while, though, it feels almost like a trainer. I'm thinking like this you could probably be competitive in IMAC competition, but Scott would know about that than I would. The SHP set up this way won't do 3D, but it's a hell of a ni9ce Sunday flier.....best I've ever seen.

Doesn't that sound wonderful?

Neverenough,

If this is a second or third plane for you then go for it. You'll never look back. If it is a first, you'll be biting off more than anyof us could chew. I own one and it hands down the best 3d plane I've ever owned but it it responsive and will go directly where you point it. Make sure you have orientation skills and stick time on a trainer before you go here.

If your seasoned already, man you will LOOOOVVVEEEE this plane!

I did buy one and then sold it about 6 weeks later. Too floaty and light for my tastes.

3DHS has some great models.
I plan on buying a 51' Aj slick and tearing up some 3D with it
Good luck with yours!

Yes, it seems the 51 slick is the next step up from the 47"shp. Once I have mastered the shp down low the slick will definately be next
