Hi ya Chellie...thanks for stopping in to say hello
Guesss its just you & me till I can get out to the field to spread the word
Im usually only there on weekends but Ive heard theres a few pilots that get out every morning
Its pretty cool out there.Lots of wide open spaces
Even a seperate runway for paragliders. We have no problems flying together with all the space

hmmm...I just noticed something
there is no direct link to informal clubs on the wattflyer home page
why is that
???
this makes it very difficult for new members to find a club in their area
waddya say administration.how bout' a link

man I got some repaire work to do.I punched in two of my balsa planes destroying the nose sections. Both times was due to elevator failure of some sort
oh well,at least the wings are in pretty good shape.A little damage to the wing saddle of one but otherwise ok

where were you flying at
and what radio & receiver were you using, there are some areas in Apple Valley where there is high RFI, one area is between the high school and rabbit dry lake bed, you may have flown there, its on the north side of hwy 18 at milpas i belive, Take care, Chellie

This happened over the course of a couple weekends
I use a junior fm radio. My yak on top had a berg micro rx in it.I think the servo wire just came unplugged.at least it was the only one unplugged when I looked at it after the crash.I'll tape it down next time

The aileron trainer plane on bottom had been crashed once before
When I screwed the clevis back to the pushrod it felt pretty loose.I was hotdoggin' it pretty good in flight.I think it just stripped out of the pushrod.I should have ca'd it in place
Live & learn eh
