I have glasses and idea of using goggles without is not acceptable as I wish to be able to revert to LoS without fumbling to put glasses back on ............ I looked at Viper mirror system - but my money is hard earned !!

Along comes Hawkeye and Banggood discount ... for 70 Euros - I get a mirror system WITH Rx / Display .... that's lighter and smaller than Viper.

I have also ordered the Redeye Whoop drone ... but that's another item.

I rec'd the Hawkeye and I am IMPRESSED ! I have not been able to run FPV in it yet ... but I unclipped (mine is the Vers 2 where the screen is held by a door - not the big spring clip) ... the FPV monitor - put my mobile phone in and watched a movie !!
The reflected image is clear, bright and mirror swivels up out of way if you want LoS.

Only limitation - the FPV monitor has no DVR .... so maybe later I will swap that out and put in an FPV display with DVR. That will still make the whole less money than Viper.

Glad that works for you. FPV is just another fun aspect of rc aircraft. All us nerds and tinkerers have to find something to occupy our time My friend has a Viper Headset and uses it to race his TinyWhoops, he likes it.

The headset is no longer available via Banggood ... it may even be discontinued overall ... sad if so.

It really is an answer for all us spectacle wearers .... not only that - but you can put a phone or tablet in and use it to watch movies ....

As to FPV ... I'm still not good at it ... I keep losing orientation / spacial awareness .... its going to take a lot of work to get this old dog up and FPV'g !!
