Default New Hobby-Lobby.com

Over the next 24 hours our new web site will be launching at hobby-lobby.com! I would like to personally thank everyone who has tested the preview and giving us feedback along the way.

New web site features include:

- A "smart" search engine that learns over time
- Better navigation to find products
- Tabs on each product page that contain videos, specifications, manuals and the favorite "Everything you will need" links
- A bigger, better computer system to make pages load faster than ever
- PayPal! (enough said)
- Shipping quotes, domestic and international, are now automatic!
- Lower shipping prices on small parts and standard sized orders
- The ability to offer online gift certificates (coming soon)

We have tried to take as much of the feedback as possible from our customers during the test period to make it better - our survey said over 90% of respondents preferred the new site. We, of course, will continue to listen because we won't be satisfied until we approach 100%.

Please keep the feedback coming - good or bad. We have the greatest customers in the world and want to continue to find new ways to better serve you.

Thanks, Jay

Excellent news! All the new features are sure to make buying from H-Ll even better than it already is!!

Best of luck!

EDIT:

WOW! Jay I don't know what you did to your parts department but I am impressed. I -will- be checking your site first for heli parts I need. I just checked on parts for a wrecked E-Sky Belt CP recently acquired and I am very pleased to say you have everything I need and at good (better than before) pricing.

Again, H-L ROCKS! Great job, two paws up!

Ok, after placing an order earlier this week I have two gripes about the web site. Ok, 2.5 gripes.

1. While I like what you've done with the tabs below the product when clicking the 'parts' tab you should be taken directly to the parts page. NOT to a link to the parts page for the product. Yea, petty but annoying.

2. Shopping cart. The link to the contents of your shopping cart should be at the top of the page while adding items to the cart. Very frustrating trying to see if I put the same thing in my cart twice. Until I found the link waaaaay down at the bottom of the page.

2.5 That script thingie that generates a listing of parts is slow. Very slow. Also. having to uncheck then check box another heli to see the parts list is clunky.

Otherwise the new site looks and drives well enough.

Thanks!
