Default PL8 UPDATE - New CCS and Firmware v 3.25 released

Hi:

A new CCS with new firmware V 3.25 was just released from beta and published to the general public today. A while back, we changed the way the updates are detected. Customers did not want to wait for the CCS to poll the internet and check for updates on launching. So, now it does this in the background after you launch the program. Therefore, in order to get the update, you will need to launch the application, close it, then launch it again. The CCS should update on the 2nd launch. Then you should see V3.25 available in the firmware tab. Highlight the new firmware version, then click Update Firmware.

When you click on the firmware version in the CCS, you will see the following information regarding the new firmware:

***VERSION 3.25 4-19-11*** Added NiZn chemistry. Added Starting Parallel Packs parameter to presets. Fixed safety code #85. Added parallel default starting numbers to the detection tab in the presets. There is an update utility that will run to update older presets to have this new parameter.

For those of you looking for the new NiZn presets, after you do the latest update, there are two ways to obtain the preset:

1) Initiate a Factory Restore - this will automatically update the Library Presets list in the PL8 to include the new NiZn presets. But use caution. This method will also wipe out any custom presets you have in the PL8. If you want to do this, back up your existing presets after the new preset update utility runs, and before inititating a Factory Restore.

2) Click on an EMPTY User preset (or a preset you wish to over-write), then use the command File > FMA Default Presets > Open File to Preset #, browse to the NiZn folder and choose one of the presets
