Smile Art Tech Cessna 182 Maiden Flight

Just thought I would make a thread prepared for todays rather hopeful maiden flight of my Art-Tech Cessna 182 500 class, Picking it up form the postal depo today, the weather is dead still and bright sunshine, so Im hoping I should have her up and away today at some point.

Video, pictures and info to come, Bloody hell I am excited

Regards

Bentley

I have had one sod of a time today, put her all together, went together a treat, but I have had major problems with the elevator and the rudder, both seem to not be working, almost like the servos are blown :/ could this be the servos or would it most likely be the receiver and TX? the elevator was originally working perfectly, but the rudder was dead, so to see if the Reciever was the problem I placed the elevator on the rudders servo and now that wont work either :/ its really annoying, they did not smoke or smell like they had burnt out though.

does anyone have a possible solution?

Interestingly I have just managed to get the elevator working, (I plugged it back the wrong way round..darrr darrr :P) however the rudder servo is working when plugged in (the right way round :P) but there seem to be no input from the receiver or tx to make it work? faulty? or am I do something silly like a switch is flicked that immobilises it?

The maiden flight of The Red Fox was today, she flew beautifully, trimmed her out nicely, solid as a rock and the most stable thing I have ever flown, I hit the deck on the maiden flight quite hard and bent the nose wheel, took it home, repaired it and flew in a slightly bigger field, boy was it good, 4 for successful flights each with nicely flared and flapped landings and thats with wind of around 3 mph constant with occasional 5mp gusts, a little nerve racking but great fun.
