Has anyone built an electric Coupe and which motor did you use?

Those old planes did not have much power,
Don't know the size and weight of a TD Coupe, but 75-100 watts per pound would be plenty.
Don't over power it

I have a 1949 Radio Queen, 7' wingspan, 5lbs
I stuck a motor on it with about 900 watts max just because I had it and it looked about right.
The plane is so over powered it is ridiculous, I am going to put in about a 400 or less motor.
I want it to act like it would have in the old days, not take off in 2 feet as it can now.

There are LOT'S of Coupes out there. TD coupe of what? You need to be MUCH more specific in your request.

The T-D Coupe I speak of was originally published in an article with plans from the October 1936 Model Airplane News.
The model was named after its designer, Theodore Dykzeul.
Plans can be found on the OZ plan site.
