Pneumatic Launches of Kyosho T-33
#1

Here's an old thread I started on RCG a couple of years ago when I first got into electrics. Please don't try this if you don't take these air cannons seriously=THEY WILL DO SERIOUS(i.e. dirt nap!) BODILY HARM IF POORLY CONSTRUCTED OR MISUSED!!!!! Another fun way to launch your planes. LOL
These were the first few flights and it took some dialing in to get it right but after increasing the pressure and lowering the angle it worked perfectly shot after shot. This was actually my first posted video.

Hey, after tearing my rotator cuff, there was no way to really launch my T-33. I'm an A/C guy by trade, so pneumatics are right up my alley. I don't do rubber band launching! Watched some guy almost lose his eye one day when the tubing snapped and the ring came back and whacked him good. Plus I shoot stuff from air cannons too, so this was no big stretch of the imagination. Saw another fellow with a similar air launch setup and had to do it. Another flyer came up with a slightly different launcher as he lives up north in the cold and needed a system to launch planes in the winter. Seems bungee cords don't do well in the freezing cold!

If they want to shoot their planes off my launcher they are more than welcome. LOL
My idea of a "fun little place" would be a strip club with a flying field next to it!
