Default A Very Sad Day!

I was just informed that as of Yesteday Steve over at Slofly.com decided to shut down his Site after many years of service Steve was one of the people that started building and flying EPP planes and many of the planes built today have come from his basic slofly28 design, Steve is a talented person and a great flyer I wish him the Best of Luck in whatever he decides to do and hope to see him back in the hobby in the future as his site and his wisdom will be missed

Robert, you grabbed my attention with the thread title! We have had specatcular weather (except Sat) so what could be so bad?

It is the pioneer who gets the arrows in his back.

As a buisness owner/product developer I clearly understand that statement on his website!

Tallflyer,

I'm sorry to hear that Slofly.com is shut down. I learned to fly with the 28" superslo. In fact, it is still hanging on my wall. I just can't bring myself strip the parts off of it for a new foam airplane. Best regards to Steve and yourself. You both helped me out a lot when I first got into this hobby.

Regards,

Hankg

I hate to see anyone get out of the model business, his statement does say volumes...

Steve will never go away as I have all his free plans on my site www.sdparkflyers.com
I too learned 3D on his Superslo28 and still fly it as much as I can!

I will help people with build and setup questions

Default My Unofficial Slofly site.

I have decided to make a a simple Slofly page where people who are fans of the plane can go and get some basic information and download the plans

http://www.sdparkflyers.com/slofly

Bookmark the page Its real clean and simple with links to stuff that is slofly and parts listing to items from HC

I Will only post slofly stuff here and keep simple and clean.

Looks good Robert, thanks for taking the time to do that. My 3D game has reached a whole new level since I started flying my SuperSlo...I love it.
