Build Review Quickie 500 Build from Plans

Hi Everyone I am back into Building and Flying RC Planes, Building a Glen Spickler Quickie 500 from full size Plans that I Bought on line at https://aerofred.com/search.php?sear...&submit=Search It will have a NITRO K+B 40 with a Header Pipe and Expansion Chamber , and use a 9x6 Prop , OK OK, It will be Convertible and Be Electric Too , WHEW , LOL, Figuring out how to do a Quick Change Power System, or Maybe I will build 2 Quickie 500s one Nitro and one E Power Wish me Luck, Chellie

I have Every Thing Ordered That I need for this Build, I found some great prices on balsa at, http://www.balsawoodinc.com/product/36-11, They have a $30.00 min Purchase, but their Prices are great, I had to buy Balsa for 2 Planes to meet the min $30.00 I Will post a Build Thread Here when all the Goodies Come in the Mail Take care and have fun, Chellie

Still Waiting for my Quicky 500 Plans to show up in the mail, Sooo in the mean time, I am Building a Profile Foamie Rust buster before I try to fly this plane and a Gentle Lady 2 meter Glider From Plans, these builds should keep me nice and warm during the winter months

Cool Yeaaaa Plans came in the Mail

The Quickie 500 Plans Finally came in the Mail from Portugal As soon as I get The 6 mm Profile Plane painted and Maiden Flight done, I will start on the Q 500, I Think I Will Make the Q 500 a Top Wing, Take care and Have Fun Everyone, Chellie

Hi Niguel Thank you for the link, I Came down with The flu, Its making me Misérable I am starting to Shake it off, but not quite there yet, I hate being Sick I have not been doing any Building, Just trying to keep comfortable, my doctor gave me all kinds of meds for it, I Should be back posting and building in about 1 week, Take care, Chellie

Miserable .... imagine how I feel after fracturing spine .... then finding out that its pressing on the spinal cord and nerves .....

Niguel, Ask your Doctor if a Inversion Table will help you, Its a Device to where you hang upside down from your feet to remove pressure off your spine.
