"SETUP HELP NEEDED DESPERATELY"
can someone please tell there exact settings for the spektrum dx7 or maybe a video so i can compare with mine and get this bird in the air safely? because im not for sure about the settings i came up with. i have the walkera gold outrunner 3500 kv motor with 13t pinion, gy401 gyro, ar6100 rx, hs56 and hs65 servos, with the cheap upgraded blue aluminum head and stock white blades. iv seen finless bobs vids but there more for the trex. iv searched everywhere and this is driving me crazy. im dying to be flying here. can someone please help a dummy out? thanks

Swash set to '1 Servo' and '90 Deg'.
Curves set similar to the setup in the Finless vids although you may want to limit your pitch to +/-8 deg or so. You want good head speed but not too much. Even with the alloy head parts.
The #36 is a very sluggish bird. Great for training, Not great for wild 3D. Also, the settings you use will be the same as found for the Shogun/Zoom as the #36 is a knock off of the Shogun V2.

Thus far that looks like a good beginning. I'm doing this exact same setup (more or less) at present. I'm putting an Exceed G2 (Walkera #36 rebranded) and a JR XP8103H transmitter. Same software and settings as the DX7.

ill be dang i didnt even think about the 13t pinion on a 3500kv motor. i just asumed it was a stock motor and pinion setup when i bought it from the guy a while back. ill tach it then change the pinion as needed and let you guys know how go's it. thanks

It sounds like you may not have enough head speed. Whether the motor is bogging from too much pinion at full pitch or the battery is sagging from too much current or the pinion is too small I dunno. But that does sound like the head speed is too low.
