Those are some nice looking planes here.

I just have some basic fun-on-the-water aircraft.

Slow Stick and Polaris Ultra and one that didn't do too well on water.

Default Tidewater fan

Here's my "Tidewater" in its third season of flying. What a great design and performer for an essentially "out of the box" airplane. I've even purchased a spare in case the inevitable happens!

This is view of my backgarden to the East ... and lot of people ask me why I don't float-fly ....

Its daft ... I have float kit at home for my Cessna or Cub ... but never fitted.

I have dinghy's so no problem to collect 'mishaps' ...

I love models of water ... and to be honest I cannot explain why I haven't done it already.

Someone could say “WOW”.
Someone else could say “There’s somebody with too much time on their hands”.
I’ll say WOW!

Great model Albatross.

Geoff

Yes I know folks, lots of posts (is that what they call trolling?)
I'm pretty new to all this on Wattflyer

I'm trying to get my post count up. 'Cos with less than 10 I cannot PM a member (a weird rule if you ask me )

Default A Beaver in Oz

This pictured Beaver is not my build (just dreaming, but one day I will). I snapped it at Lake Hume Twin Cities MAC Seaplane day Oct 2011.

Have a great beaver day

Hi joe:

That flying boat looks suspiciously like a shorts Solent. Another of my faves......unfortunately, the hangar is too over crowded at the moment, so a build is not exactly imminent :-(

Yes he is a great fellow..... I have known and flown with him for quite a few years ( almost thirty). I have spent many many enjoyable evenings with him in his little work shop ( learning ) I will build the Solent...
one day, but for now the Albatross and the Catalina, will have to do me :-)
Between those and my WW1 stuff, and Tiger Moths there isn't any place left on the shop ceiling to hang a fuselage. And no walls left to store wings !

Default PBY 6 Catalina

I built this Catalina from a German Kit in 1992 - gave it a serious overhaul this winter with new ESCs and Servos and now she flies again....
