Default Hobbico Field Charger

Hello All , I have gotten a couple uf good reviews on this charger .. Can anyone here tell me about them .. I was wondering if this had the "Fuel Guage" type option that tells you how much has to be put back in to bring the battery back to full ..

I will try to post a pic of it here .. Thanks for any help you can give me .. I am trying to decide which one to save up $$ for , Thank You .

hi don,
I have seen the ads concerning that charger. I don't know much about it as I do not own one. I do have a vision charger that works pretty well and cost about $85.00. I'll see if i can locate some info for you..

The hobico is a simple, basic charger - no gagues or dials or indicators at all.

It is NOT a balancing charger.

Its main selling point is that is can charge 2 or more packs at one time depending on the model.

I have one and it works fine if all you want is a simple charger.

Be warned - it does NIMH as well as lipo and MUST be set to the correct mode or you will be blowing up packs.

There are no built in safety features.

The charger you are thinking of with the fuel gauge is the FMA CellPro 4.

A much safer charger in my opinion.
