Default SEFF is coming...

So here we are, just a few short months away from another SEFF.

Keep an eye out for news on www.seffweek.com.

Already we are seeing some changes from last year. Matt Klos is stepping out of the CD position and Bob Barnard is stepping in. Most of you will remember Bob as the flightline boss from years past.

Another change is to the flightline. Another shuffle this year regarding the 3D and sport flyer lines. Attached is the picture from the SEFF week website. I've heard this isn't set in stone yet, but I wouldn't count on it changing.

That's all the news I have right now, keep an eye out here and in the Wattflyer FaceBook page. As I get info, I'll try to post it here or there.

OK, don't know why it won't imbed the picture instead of just posting a link.

Should show as a photo instead of attachment, strange.

SEFF is April 11th - 16th. Time to update my calendar.

looking forward to it as I missed last year. Had a nice warm up at the pecan patch chili fly seeing some of my old buddies and doing some good flying.

I will say I'm not real happy about the field layout. But it is what it is. As a CD I know how hard the logistics are to put on even a one day small event. I can only imagine what goes into planning an event like SEFF so I will hold my complaints of how the field is setup.

We will make it work and have a great time of food, fun, flying, and fellowship.

yes we are!

It is still going to suck that Mason can't come. He is as much a part of SEFF to me as SEFF is itself. I was so glad we got to go down to Marks last week.

He has grown a lot, was hoping he could make it down this year to SEFF. He'll be graduating before you know it Bill.

I know Don, Crazy, he will be halfway through at the end of the spring semester. He has all his paperwork in for summer field training and the waiting game is on. If selected he will be on contract having the rest of his school paid for and a commissioning slot upon graduation.

We all think he has a pretty good chance of making it.

On another note, we found out today my daughter got selected for the position she had been interviewing for. Not sure of the official title but she will be working in the public relations office for the city of Newport News Virginia making GREAT money and great benefits to boot!

Congrats to your daughter Bill! That sounds like a fantastic job. Nick had updated m about Mason and that was great news too.

Thanks Don, Very proud of her for sure.

Ok so I have my new co pilot coming over to help move the taj down to Hodges field for SEFF, thanks Nick! Two bunk space are spoken for and there is room for a couple more. The man child will be at school and unable to attend once again so his space is open.

If you are interested in going and need a place to rack out let me know and we may be able to work something out.

The raffle was bad last year because you weren't there to win anything Bill. Sure hope it's back to the regular high quality one this year! Last year I won a gold prize the first day and the selection was rather poor compared to years

Wow I hope so too! I wish you would have said that sooner as i spent a lot on tickets!

Well, what I normally spend anyway, but I don't have Mason to split them with.

I don't need anything. I'm wondering if I should buy tickets at all.

Not sure yet. Horizon has made me angry enough to stop doing business with them.
