Default Hope I'm in the right spot

As the title says, I hope I am posting this in the right category..bear with me, I am new here. There will be a B17-G bomber landing at Chris Hadfield Airport in Sarnia, Ontario on June the 19th, 2007. It will be available for public viewing and tours on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th. The cost is $5.00 per person ( CDN) as per the information I just verified with the airport. If anyone in the area wants to get up close and personal with a real B17, this would be the opportunity. Maybe some of the members from Michigan might be interested in scooting across the border for a look. The name of the plane is "Sentimental Journey" , she was built in 1944 and is only one of 10 functional Flying Fortresses left in the world. Might be worth a look...thanks

Sentimental Journey is based here in my town of Mesa, AZ. I have been inside her a few times, but have never taken a flight in her. But I see her flying around here all winter long, sometimes right over my house.

If you've never been inside a B-17, you would not believe how tight the spaces are in there!

Let's just say the catwalk between the bomb racks from the cockpit to the waist gunners is VERY narrow.

I guess I'll have to do my best...ever since I got my new prosthetic leg, my balance has been off a bit but I'm sure I can handle the tour. I really hope they let me into the cockpit or a gun turret

Not sure about the turrets, but the cockpit was open.
