Default RC tx for Toys questions

Not sure if this the correct board for this question, but my kids have more than a handful of toys that fly or drive and they have lost the TX for them. Is there away to set up a cheap TX to work with their toys? Or is it not that easy just to match the rx which is built into the board? if none of this makes sense or has made you laugh, i guess I'm half way there....LOL

well probably not lol, because each one most likely has different frequencys like 27.054, 27.940 etc... even 49.205 also the ch's functions are different too. Im not sure if there is such a thing as a "Universal Remote Controller" lol although it would be cool. That is a pretty good idea you have though... this is just my opinion maybe there is a way...

I was not thinking "1 TX to rule them all" LOL would be pretty cool though, but if I could just find out the freq and then match it, one at a time or pick out the coolest toy and at least set up that one.

Ahh i see, well im not sure to be honest, i mean like i said you'd have to match the channels too because i tried using different Tx's for my walmart toys and on some the turning stick was the forward stick. So i mean you could get lucky i guess.
