Default Fake Le Rhone engine?

Finishing my BUSA 1/6 scale Nieuport 17, I need to find a fake Le Rhone engine to mount in the cowl. Any suggestions on sources? Thanks.

Williams le-Rhone kit for cylinders to add on a frame mounted around the electric motor. (don't try to make the dummy engine spin...) The bell of a large outrunner simulates the crankcase just fine.
(might as well use a big outrunner to spin a big prop slow... needs nose weight anyway)

Or just order the dummy engine from the Hanger 9 1/6 Sopwith ARF (very low detail)

I have the Proctor/VK 1/6 Sopwith. (hanging near complete for 6 years...)

It can be done but you need really light cylinders!

If you use a motor that can turn a scale size prop the power absorbed from spinning the cylinders is not too great.

But you do have to watch the effect of motor torque from such a big prop - just like they did in full size!

Google Park Flyer Plastics. You can buy the front only for electric powered models. Vacuum formed ABS but can be detailed and painted to look very realistic. Inexpensive, buy an extra for repairs.
