maybe it's someone who just didn't have the money to move to the end of a runway at JFK...

The funny thing is the person at the end of our runway is not the person that complained.
I also think the person that built the house has enough money to build a house anywhere he wants. Watch the video at our website and you'll see the size of the new house.

Most likely was, but "laundered" his complaint to keep certain names out of the papers.

Just my opinion, but I think you are correct.

Yeah, I think it is time to start digging a bit deeper to find out exactly what happened here. Makes no sense that we have been in this location for almost 2 decades and the person that filed the complaint has been in the same house since 1997. All of a sudden we are too loud? Something is rotten in West Newbury.

I'm sorry man. get your group to get some slow sticks and wings and start flying them at the local park. we used to fly quite a bit off a freeway over pass that dead ended and in industrial parks that were undeveloped.

best wishes.

Looks like the grass is even growing on the access road.
Hope we can get the new place this summer.
Charlie needs a new place to play.

Yes we did. The AMA offered to pay for most of the attorney fees too.

The complaint always looked fishy.

The man lives next to the river and in the summer all you can hear are the loud boats going up and down the river.

The man has lived there since 1997 and the "noise " never bothered him before. The planes are much quieter now than 10 years ago. A lot of the flying now is electric too.

You can't hear the airplanes from the complainants house if you are indoors with the windows closed.
It was November or December when he complained..It was cold.

When a person files a noise complaint it is usually with the town police, not the town officers.

He also knew about the restrictions on the land use. How, why?

During the time that we were fighting this, we have learned new facts about the complaint.
We've come to the conclusion that it's not just the complainant, but someone else with very close ties to the town administration.
The complainant is actually just a sock puppet, but a sock puppet that knows the town officials.

That's funny, I might have to get the police after you for that.

If anyone wants to know what the inside joke is, PM me.

We are probably going to lose our 35 year old hard dirt flying field at Fairview Park in Costa Mesa. There are a number of "ball sports" interests who want to turn our field into a money making parking lot for the nearby multi purpose-stadium. Park system and environmentalists would not let us pave the landing strip , amazing how money talks over environmentalism.

You can point the city to our sports center here in joliet that our city thought would be a great idea ,they are still paying stuff off for the place before venders start suing the city. Its like a money pit draining money from us the people, the tax payers . The city with its gambling boat money and big new sports field is broke so they raised our taxes 14 percent to cover it all. I am selling my house and my company is selling its big shop by our airport to get the away from joliet . My company has a building thats 75 ft long by 65 ft wide and they were paying 1000 a month in taxes ,now its 1600 a month in just taxes so they sold it and moving south like iam . joe

I live north of Boston.
Boston is a large sports city.
All the players have super great contracts and make large amounts of money. All the team owners make even more money, yet every few years, it's we need a new this or that and the taxpayer gets the hose.

Amazing how that works, the people making the least amount of money have to support the people making the most.

Way off topic, but, same thing in Wisconsin. The governor at that time was caught on camera stating we should build the baseball stadium, and Stick it to Milwaukee, for paying for it. And, as a result Milwaukee and the surrounding counties have an extra sales tax to pay for it.

What is worse, this $$$$ stadium is used 99% for baseball, and virtually nothing else.

And don't forget, then if those people who paid for the place don't buy enough tickets, it's blacked-out from TV in that city. Talk about holding you hostage...

I flew at the new field last weekend and yesterday. This is the first outside flying I've done since last October. The new field is great.
I took a picture of the third Aeromaster I've done, this one converted to electric.
I was so busy getting the new plane going, I forgot to get pictures of the field.

New pictures of the new field
Airplane is a plane I picked up at a local flea market for 10 bucks.
On the way to the field my flight box tipped over and landed on the plane. Very little damage, this is after the box incident.
It needed nose weight, so I epoxied a cylinder from a Baby Bee on the nose.

Looks like a nice wide open space to fly I have a little field envy going on. Yours is mowed out of a field mine is more like it was carved out of a forest.

Paul that's not the plane you where talking about the other day is it? If it is sorry to hear it had it's life snuffed out by a tool box. Not the way for a plane to go out of this world.
