I like my sky walker, add the extra spar to the wing.
It is not tail heavy when you get a cam and big battery up front.

I did not like my 72mhz radio for FPV.
IMO Your control system should be more capable then your video system.
I now use a Dragon link Long range on my Futaba

I learned the hard way... I bought 1000mw video tx, 14db patch antenna, Eagle Tree, OSD Pro with Eagle Eye and antenna tracking.... but had the 72mhz radio. I struggled with the set up and had several close calls. here is the last video with that radio. all the camera shaking and screens popping up was glitching. this is part 2 showing the bad parts.
I have not had any radio issues with the Dragon link.

My current set up:
500mw video tx
simple diversity setup with 2 Video Rx 2 patch antennas
no tracking, (going for small, easy to set up)
IRecord video recorder.
Go-Pro HD camera used as the flight cam.

Later,
Gundy

I like the Sky Walker. Mine was built for me by my son and re-in forced with Carbon Fiber rods in the wing and in the tail. It is really an all around plane that can carry a good sized payload. You can fly it fast or slow it down to loiter while shooting video of an object on the ground. One thing that I have found, you have to toss it like a Randy Johnson fast ball, then shoot the power to it and it will rocket to altitude. Around 300' in about 6 seconds. I can get out of and into very tight areas with it and have no trouble slowing it down for landing. Some add flaps however I haven't found a need for them.
