My local hobby shop carries aluminum in different diameters. I would just cut it to length. I just bought the Dynamic Frame set for my other Blade. You can order the tailboom and double motor tail mount as a set. Got to check to see if they sell it with out the mount. Getting the right diameter aluminum and cutting it seems pretty easy. Hardware stores probably carry aluminum tubing.

I just bought the Dynamic Frame from them it is a great upgrade. Makes the CP tough as nails and removes some of the slop and flex you get with a stock frame. I doubt I can break this frame if I tried. Nice project for your son it is easy to install, tough as nails, looks great, and is a great value as you will not be replacing skids, tails, or frames. If you do need to work on it it has a nice modular design held together with set screws instead of little tubing pieces. Took me about twenty minutes to install.

just plain aluminum tube stock you find in your lhs is quite thin in gauge and very flexable. when i put an aluminum tube boom on mine i also found carbon stock (like the original boom) just slightly smaller and lined the tube with that, this combination also protects from cracked or spined booms after blade strikes especially if you use "plasti blades" which are a very painfull and destructive blades for the cp series.

My LHS has stock with different size wall thickness. They have the same stock that my Flight Tech tail is.
