Default Swarm sale for lights any takers

All right I need some green lights and some other colors HK has a Swarm buy it cuts the price in half.

Example the blue led drops from 5.72 to 3.72 If 6 people apply for the swarm then 3.72 cents is the price for a meter of lights I want to see if 6 people would be interested in doing this. There is no obligation to buy the lights if you don't want to, and if you want to buy them it is done through HobbyKing.

So post away here if you want to get in on this if enough people post up I will creat a swarm for lights of different colors and post the link here.

Again if there is no obligation to purchase the lights if you don't want to the savings is good though.

At that kind of savings I'm in for what ever colors I can get.

Thanks John

Post a link to the items you are interested in and it will make it easier for others to participate.

Here you go red lights to.

http://www.hobbyking.com/SwarmSale.asp?id=74435

I would not be the one to teach you how to set them up as I am going to be learning as I go, and asking questions. I did buy a little gizmo for controlling the lights from this place. It does not seem to difficult to do just need to have some soldering skills and have at it to make a night flier. at least thats my plan for my Xmas gift a Sig Seniorita.

For each one of the lights I used my daughters email and it took it so each light has one person joined.

All that is involved is go to the link that is provided for the color light. It will take you to a link that gives you the option to join the swarm type in your email and click. As soon as 6 people join that swarm you get notified to purchase the light. Myself I am hoping that they all get done it will save on shipping be nice to add 4 lights to a basket and save shipping cost.
Like I said it does not matter if you don't need that color it just helps out the person that does need a certain color.
I don't need blue but I subscribed to shoeler's swarm for the blue set it will help him to get them at the swarm price.
Have to remember this is a advertising gimmick by HK to draw people into purchasing products kinda tells you what the mark up is.

missing the red though I didn't get that one. I added three sets to my cart waiting on the red to show up. I hope this works with one code for the whole cart.

All right I might do live chat to see how to pay on shipping cost for 3 sets of lights. Seems that you have to add each light seperatly and then add the code. I tried doing all of them and using the 3 swarm codes and it only took one code.
If anyone figures this out post it here on how to save shipping cost for each light set. It still is cheaper than the full price, but I want cheaper still, and I am sure you do to.

I started a swarm over at RCG for the same thing earlier this week. I thought about posting it over here, but it filled too quickly.

All right shoeler how did you pull that off I tried and it would take only one code.

That controller will make the lights run off of your main battery pack I don't think that is a good idea could cut into your flight time alot or cause other problems.

Ok so this is a weird work around, but it worked:

1-I had to clear the browsing history and then login to HK.
2-Put the link in from the e-mail, added the swarm code, added my email to it, then it added the item to my cart.
3-I verified the price was correct
4-Cleared browser history again
5-Logged into HK
6-Then clicked open previous cart
7-Went back to email and opened link to 2nd swarm sale, put in code, email and added item to cart
8-Verified item was in cart at right price
9-Cleared browsing history.... repeated like before.

Lots of work for a cheap discount!

We need one more person for red lights!
