Purchased a Emax servo from Heads Up. I messed up the servo arm. Asked about getting another servo arm.
There reply. You will have to buy another servo. Is that great service or what?
So I messed up by not knowing that servo arms are not available for this servo.

Thanks carpetbagger when I use the servo I will hunt further. I was looking for just the straight one. I have the others. Thanks Chellie my point was if you are going to carry the servo why not carry the servo arms. I am not the fist one to have messed up the servo arms. I really didn't want to deal with one vendor for the servo and another for the extra set of servo arms. In other words this was supposed to be a heads up for Heads Up RC

headsup rc is #1 in customer service. i bought a powerup 450 and the bell housing was loose.i wanted to send it back for replacement but they just sent a new one which arrived a few days later. awesome service and shipping is the best price ever.
jeff may not carry all the stuff hobby king does, but what ever you buy they do backup. i also use emax servos and have lots of spare servo arms. i'd be glad to put a few in an envelope and send them to you. just pm me. stu

My E Max 508 servos came with that long straight - I have a few spares if you need them. I like the one arm ones for hooking up ailerons on servo-in-wing installs, but back in the day you got a X arm and a disk only so nail clippers on the X arm made short work to get a single arm rig. 508 metal gear servos on sale at HURC for $3.95 now!

Got that right. Back in the `70s & `80s when I had a hobby shop and was punching out a couple dozen Futaba radios a month servos were so expensive folks mounted them in a tray and moved them from plane to plane. Yes, I had gear sets and arms in stock - think the gears ran a few bucks, set of arms about the same. Servos? I seem to recall $25 on up for those buggers. Basic analog, feedback pot, plastic gear servos.
