Default Recall: Fly Dragonfly helicopters for fire and burn danger

FROM CONSUMER REPORTS:

Imagine Nation Books and the Consumer Product Safety Commission recently announced the recall of 46,000 remote-controlled toy Fly Dragonfly helicopters. The issue: Its built-in rechargeable batteries may overheat, igniting the helicopter which could injure consumers and cause property damage.

According to the CPSC, there have been nearly 50 reports of the helicopters—also know as "Queen Bee"—overheating. In six of those incidents, consumers report flames comes out of the toy helicopter. No injuries have been reported, but there has been a case of minor property damage.

Both the CPSC and Imaging Nation Books say that consumers affected by the recall should stop using the recalled toys immediately and contact the company for a full refund.

The black and yellow plastic helicopters measure about 19-inches long and 6.5-inches high. They were made in China and sold at book and gift fairs from August 2009 through January 2010.
