Parkzone Micro Cessna 210

Sunfn,
SOunds like you picked up one of your buddie's X by mistake. The beeping is it trying to find its own TX signal. You can re-bind it (center the sticks, push the left stick straight down/in - like a button) by following the instructions on page 2.

G'Day guys!
I bought a Citabria yesterday.
Flys very slowly if you want - around walking speed and can easily do figure 8's across a basketball court.
Had a fantastic time for one and a half batteries when it lost power dramatically. The motor seems to have seized up. Full throttle can't turn the prop and the plane beeps.
Any ideas??
Cheers

So they do exist!
I had the same problem with my new Cessna. After the first recharge, the engine stopped in mid-flight. I cut the plane open and put a drop of oil in the prop shaft and it worked OK for another two minutes, then seized again. I called customer support and they said "send it back." I said "Could I trade it for a Citabria?" (which was not available when I ordered the Cessna). Support guy said "You would have to wait a long time" so I assume it is still not available in the US.

Good idea! Then you would have a almost fully aerobatic micro-Cessna. You might be able to fly inverted but with the wing design I doubt it would fly well upside-down. You might want to reduce the dihedral since you would not need the added stability.
The only time you really need rudder is for crosswind landings & takeoff's. Then there's 3D and precision flying which need rudder. But since the Cessna doesn't do wind go ahead and make some ailerons.
Do the ailerons first then you can try other mods. One thing at a time until you see how well it works.
I'm interested to see how well it comes out.

Well I put em on there and now I just got to go try it out, the way I have it setup the rudder could still be used along with ailerons to give smoother turns if wanted but I will see how just ailerons goes first.
and It added 1.5g of weight, it was 18g now its 19.5g.

The tape is on there for now just so I can adjust them for now. And of course it started to rain 1sec after i stepped outside so I decided to just try it once anyway, I set her down gave it some throttle and then the prop flew off. so far not so good. How can I get more deflection out of these?

Move the pushrod to the outer hole on the rudder horn by the tail. Then move the rod closer to the center on your horn.
Be careful, you don't want too much travel. Try it first the way you have it.
Interesting setup. I was thinking to do surgery on the plane and make a dedicated aileron system. Hey, if it works OK.

they didnt work so good. I had to put the control on the rudder along with the ailerons to get it to turn but it did make a difference then, alot sharper turns but I would not do it, its just that I have another fuse wing n tail section comin for this one. I did duild a scaled up model of this plane last night, I will put ailerons on here if it works.

Well kids, I maidened my Cessna210 last night at the weekly indoor flyin, and all I can say is WOW! Once she was trimmed, she flew awesomely. Can't wait to fly her outdoors on a nice calm evening. (Of course, I also can't wait for some nice 50-60 degree evenings.....)

A friend just bought one and I saw it fly last Thursday... I like my Cessna 210 but the Citabria is a much better flyer.
